A dataset of gamers on Twitter

This gaming-related dataset consists of 8932 users (labeled as gamers) engaging in game-related conversations. We have collected (June 2018) their timeline (the most recent 3200 tweets) using the Twitter Search API.

This dataset has been collected by Mustafa Toprak for the paper Toprak, Mustafa, Chiara Boldrini, Andrea Passarella, and Marco Conti. "Harnessing the power of ego network layers for link prediction in online social networks." IEEE Transactions on Computational Social Systems (2022).
